Funeral from the Sowiecki Funeral Home Saturday Mar 22 at 8 a.m. Requiem high mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment St. James Cemetery.

Mrs. Hedwidge (Boulanger) Bouchard, wife of the late Louis J. Bouchard of 79 West Britannia Street, died Wednesday afternoon at Morton Hospital after an illness of a short duration. She was born in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Edward and Lida (Otis) Boulanger. She was in her 72nd year and lived in East Taunton most of her life and in this city for the past 14 years. Mrs. Bouchard was well-known and liked by her many friends, and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Mrs. Bouchard leaves two sons, Louis J. Bouchard Jr. of Bridgewater, Massachusetts and Charles H. Bouchard of this city; six daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Yvonne) Gamache of Lynn, Massachusetts, Mrs. Montcalm (Eva) Fournier of Bridgewater, Mrs. John (Anne) Baptist of this city, Mrs. Leonard (Phoebe) Labrecque of this city, Mrs. Joseph (Annette) Silvia of North Dighton, and Mrs. Herbert (Rose) Harrison of this city; one brother, Joseph Boulanger of Albion, RI; three sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Bergeron of this city, Mrs. Anna Connolly of Canton, Massachusetts and Mrs. Yvonne Gamache of this city; three grandsons, seven granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
