Albert J . Bourdon, 59, of 16 Richards
St., an Alcoa employe, died in Massena
Memorial Hospital at 7:15 o'clock
Friday night, June 28, 1974.
He was admitted to the hospital at
10:50 that morning but had been
hospitalized several times during the
past few months.

Surviving are his wife; one step-son,
Charles Romigh, Massena; one
grandchild; his father and. stepmother,
Mr. and Mrs.Emile Bourdon,
Cornwall; one sister, Mrs. .Jerry
(Bernadette) Podvin, Cape Vincent;
Ernilten Bourdon;
Aylmer, Ont., Lucien Bourdon, Ottawa,
and Paul Bourdon, Massena.

Mr. Bourdon was born at St. Albert,
Ont. Nov. 9, 1914, a son of Emile
Bourdon and Elizabeth
Laplante Bourdon. He attended schools
in Casselman and Cornwall, Ont., and
moved to Watertown from Canada in
1946. He worked on the railroad there four
years and then came to Massena to
Work at Massena Operations, Alcoa.

He served in both Canadian and
American armies in World War 2.
He became a member of the Alcoa 25
Year Service Club in April, 1972.

He and the former Rose Rafter were
married Jan. 19, 1956 in the First
Methodist Church with the Rev. W. O.
Thomas, then pastor, officiating.

The body was at the Donaldson
Funeral Home. Funeral services were
held Monday morning at 10 at St. Mary's Church
with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
