Bourdon, Mr. Alfred J.

Mr. Alfred J. Bourdon, died Thursday evening at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Age 86. Born May 25, 1885 in Muskegon. Married the former Miss Laurentia Charron in Canada May 30, 1910. Mrs. Bourdon died at Muskegon September 4, 1965. He was a communicant of St. Jean's Catholic Church and was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Was last employed at the Universal Camshaft Co. retiring in about 1965. Survived by six daughters, Mrs. Robert Bassett, Mrs. Patrick Savidge, Mrs. Gordon Johnson, Mrs. Robert Andersen and Mrs. George Bastian all of Muskegon, and Mrs. Raymond Beyer of Tucson, Arizona; three brothers, Norman and Adrian of Muskegon and Ray of Florida; a sister, Miss Delia Bourdon of Muskegon, 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Jean Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. David E. LeBlanc as celebrant and the interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. – Pachesny
