Jane was raised in Colosse, VA where she was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, she worked at Obici Hospital, Hillcrest Nursing Home and did private duty nursing.
She leaves behind a daughter with a very sad heart, Donna K. Lewis, her son-in-love, as she affectionately called him, James K. Lewis, Sr. (Jimi); her three grandchildren, Pastor James K. Lewis Jr, (Jim) his wife Wendy, their children Jay, Cody, Judah, Jordan and Gunnar, Jeremy Lewis, His wife Adena and children Mikayla, Jonah and Hayley; Jenni Lewis Williams and her husband Brian and children, Jaylen and Lee-Ann for total of 10 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. She also leaves a loving and dedicated sister Jule B. Eason; step children Mary Baker and son Steven, Hope Golishoff and husband Mitch and daughter Emma, Sherry Hines and children Charley and Taylor, and G.R. Baker III and wife Debbie and children Adam, and Grace; and many nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors and great friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery, 6361 Rhodes Dr., Windsor, VA 23487 by Rev. Jim Lewis and Rev. T.R. King. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St, Suffolk is serving the family. Thank you, Lord for peace and comfort for my mom and our family. Forever in our hearts!
