Virginia Beach - Aubrey Linwood Bowden, 69, of 110 Holly Point Road, died Saturday in a hospital.
A native of Knotts Island, NC, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Thelma Buchanan Bowden. He retired from Bowden's Landscaping & Spraying Co., and was a member of Frances Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jane B. Denman of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Walter Linwood Bowden Jr., of Norfolk, and W. Bernard Bowden of Portsmouth; and two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen B. Little of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Aurilla B. Boyce of Ft. Myers, FL.
A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Paul J. Widenhouse. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road, has charge. The family will be at 1116 Ditchley Road, Virginia Beach.
