Ormondsville--Mrs. Lucille Braxton Bowen died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at her home . Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ormondsville Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Ribeiro officiating. Entombment will follow in Ayden Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowen was a charter member of the Ormondsville Free Will Baptist Church and women's Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Bowen, parents, Dan and Annie Braxton, sisters, Bettie Lee Calhoun, Helen Jones, and Dorothy Carraway, and brother, Dan Braxton Jr.
She is survived by three sisters, Thelma Dennis and Marie B. Nobles, both of Ayden, and Mattie B. Moore of Farmville, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held tonight from 7-9 at Farmer Funeral service in Ayden.
