Mrs. Marilyn Bowen Pavey, 61, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2016.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 3 pm in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Pavey, daughter of the late Arthur and Peggy Smith Bowen, was a native of Greene County. She was employed as a cashier at Vidant Medical Center and was a member of Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church. A strong, God fearing woman, she was compassionate and an outstanding wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Suggs Faulkner.

She is survived by her: husband of 40 years, James Pavey Jr.; son, Brian Pavey and wife, Melody, of Raleigh;
daughter, Krystal Pavey Manning and husband, Scotty, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Maya, Brianna, and Mason;
twin sister, Carolyn Clewis and husband, Eugene, of Dillon, SC.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 – 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Philippians 4:13, “ I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
