"Adelia H., wife of Dan H. Vickers, died at her home in Roseboom Saturday morning, September 7th, at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Vickers, a daughter of Conrad and Margaret Bowers, was born in the town of Middlefield May 7, 1837, where her entire life was passed, save for the last six years, which has been spent in Roseboom, the last of which she has been in declining health. In 1863 she was united in marriage to Dan H. Vickers. Six children were born to them, Addie B., who died at an early age, as the result of an accident, Fred D., who is a practicing physician in Little Falls, Squire J., an architect, residing in New York, Harry W., also a physician and associated with his brother in Little Falls, Wheeler C., residing on the homestead and Hayes B., a mechanical engineer, in the government employ at Panama. She is also survived by her husband and a sister ... Interment was made in the family plot in the Roseboom cemetery.---Our Roseboom Reporter."
