Funeral services for Sybil J. Bartlemo, 89, of Casa Grande, are scheduled at 4 p.m. Saturday at Cole & Maud Chapel, with Craig Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Bartlemo was born July 6, 1900 in Reilly Springs, Texas, and died March 28, 1990 at Desert Valley Care Center.

She was a retired school teacher and moved to Arizona 40 years ago from Louisiana. She received her bachelor's degree at Baylor University and her master's degree at the University of Texas.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Alpha Zeta Chapter and a charter member of Delta Kappa Gamma and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Mrs. Bartlemo served in the United States Navy during World War II.

She is survived by one son, Neil Brunson, of Charleston, SC; one brother, Pinkney Bowie, of Pecos, TX; and a sister, Grace Patrick, of Casa Grande.

Cole & Maud Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
