Helen M. Cremeen Bowler, 59, of Maryville died Monday in Memorial Hospital, Belleville, where she had been hospitalized since Dec. 29.
Born Jan. 7, 1911, in St. Joseph, Mo., she had resided in Troy and Granite City prior to moving to Maryville 14 years ago.
She was a daughter of Mrs. Minnie Goerke Jensen of Bemidji, Minn., and the late John Cremeen. Her husband, Clifton A. Bowler, died May 10, 1964.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert L. (Marilyn) Hartung of Edwardsville, Marcia Lynn Bowler of Maryville and Mrs. Frank (Patricia) Armanees of St. Louis; two sons, James W. Bowler of Maryville and Harry C. Bowler of Minot, N.D.; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Cremeen of Kansas City, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Bernice) Morgan of Savannah, Mo.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Maryville, where the Rev. George Ankarlo, pastor, will officiate at last rites at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Valley View cemetery, Edwardsville.
Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville after 2 p.m. Wednesday until 11:30 a.m. Thursday, when the body will be removed to the church for services.
