Bowman-Begay was a rancher and housewife. She had a lot of love for her family. She loved to weave rugs, cook and take care of her grandchildren. She had a lot of love for people of all walks of life.
Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Ann Begay; sister, Matilda Bowman Arviso.
Bowman-Begay was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Tsosie Begay; parents, Ben and Alnozbah Bowman; brothers, Harry Bowman, Alferd Bowman, Arther Bowman, Peter Bowman, Robert Bowman, Bahe Bowman, Edison Bowman; sister, Zonnie Bowman Bitsie.
Pallbearers will be family members.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Tohatchi Chapter House, following services. Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
