Mary B. Neen Arnold

Arnold, Mary "Neen" Bowman, age 87, formerly of Maryville, TN died June 27, 2009 at Alois Alzheimer Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Lee A. Arnold; parents, Essie Mae and John Frank Bowman; sister, Margie Milburn; brother, T.F. Bowman. Ms. Arnold was a registered nurse for many years at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and the Iva Moore Sunday school class in Maryville. She was a graduate of Harriman High School and The University of Tennessee School of Nursing in Memphis, TN. Survived by her sons, Lee Alan Arnold II and wife Nancy, John Arnold both of Titusville, Florida; daughter, Carol Arnold of Newport, Kentucky; granddaughter, Brandi Van Booven; great granddaughters, Addison and Avery; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Amy Probst officiating. Interment service will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any of the following organizations, Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 10088, Knoxville, TN 37939, Blount Memorial Hospice,1095 East Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804, The Friends of The Smokies or Broadway United Methodist Church, 309 East Broadway Maryville, TN 37804. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
