The sepulture of the following persons is extracted, chiefly, from the register of this cathedral. 1764 -- December 31, Henry, Earl of Shannon, Lord Justice ; "extra ringing and muffling four days." Regist. . . . This Henry was son to Henry Boyle ; second son to the first Earl of Orrery, Lieutenant Colonel to Duke Schonberg's regiment of horse, who died in Flanders, in 1693. . . . The history and antiquities of the collegiate and cathedral church of St. Patrick near Dublin, from it foundation in 1190, to the year 1819: comprising a topographical account of the lands and parishes ... and biographical memoirs of its deans.
