Rosario "Rosa" Y. Bradbury was the second daughter of L. L. Bradbury. Rosario's father, was a highly successful 19th century American businessman, who built his wealth in Mexico's mining industry and by acquiring California real estate. Upon LL's death in 1892, he left a sizable fortune to his wife Simona Martinez, who was a Mexican national, and to their six children. This fortune was valued at about $15 million dollars in 1892, or approximately $100 million dollars in 1990. She married James Wallace Winston on January 14, 1891 in Los Angeles, California and together they had five children. (Bio by: Jay Lance)
