According to her death certificate, Mrs. Katherine M. Abbott was born December 16, 1879, and died April 28, 1947, both in San Antonio, Bexar Co, Texas. She was a housewife, married (Thomas H. Abbott, Jr.), and daughter of Martin (b. San Antonio, TX) and Barbara (Huffmeyer; b. San Antonio, TX) Braden. She was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery on April 30, 1947.

Mrs. K.M. Abbott Funeral Wednesday
A native and lifelong resident of San Antonio, Mrs. Katherine Abbott, 67, of 914 S. Presa St., died Monday in a hospital. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Funeral services are planned at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include her husband Thomas H. Abbott, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Elton McCabe; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel B. Hannon and Mrs. Ellen Dibrell; two brothers, Fred H. and Arthur L. Braden and four grandchildren.
