Mrs. Lillie Arban, 79, Athens, died Thursday at the Limestone Health Facility.


The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Cleaborn Pullum officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery.


Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lula Samples of Huntsville; one niece, Mrs. Nancy Carwile of Athens; two nephews, Charles Emerson of Athens and James Samples of Huntsville; and two step-granddaughters, Mary Smith and Sandra Smith, both of Athens.


*2nd wife of William Mack Arban. He is buried beside his first wife at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Courtland, AL.
