Mrs. Mary Banning,
one of the pioneer women of this city, passed away at her home in this city yesterday evening after a long and painful illness. The aged lady, she was born in 1843, has been an invalid for months and has been cared for by her brother-in-law and his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Combs, who came from Monrovia, Cal., last fall. She had no children and leaves two sisters and brother who live east. Interment will be in the Masonic cemetery. Rev. Mr. McCreery will conduct the services to be held tomorrow at two o'clock from the home of the deceased.
