Beulah B. Johnson, of the 7700 block of Armfield Ave., a retired secretary, died January 18, 1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Norfolk, had retired from DePaul Hospital after 30 years. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia R. Johnson of Virginia Beach; two sons, Edward L. Johnson Jr. of Norfolk and Ira W. Johnson of Virginia Beach; her mother, Beulah H. Braxton of Norfolk; a sister, Rosa West of Berkeley, Calif.; five brothers, Aaron Braxton, Earl Braxton Sr., Elizah Braxton, all of Norfolk, and the Rev. Harold Braxton and Carter Braxton of Ettrick, Va.; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church by the Rev. Harold Braxton. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. A wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Graves Funeral Home. Friends may join the family at 7432 Diven St.
