A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Jarod Cruthis officiating.
Mrs. Asbill was born in Richmond County to Noah and Nettie Jarrell Brewer.
She was a member of Star House of Praise, was a retired inspector with Springs Inc. Aileen Plant, and was a circuit minister. She loved music, loved to sing, and especially loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde Asbill, Sr.
She is survived by her son, William C. "Bill" Asbill, Jr. and wife, Vickie, of Winston Salem; daughters, Carol Epps and husband, James, of Biscoe, Susan Freeman and husband, Keith, of Biscoe; brother, Martin Brewer and wife, Dorothy, of Troy; sister, Berline Brewer, of Columbia, SC; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
No visitation is planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
