Eugenia was married three times. Her first two marriages ended in divorce. She married William W. Barber on March 8, 1996. He preceded her in death in 2009. She graduated from Salem Academy in 1944 and Linden Hall Junior College in Lititz, PA, in 1946. She was preceded in death by her son, Lou Bonds (died 2010), her sister, Lucille Harris, and her brother, Norman E. "Mike" Brewer.
