Mrs. Allen, 70, died Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 12th at St. Davie Baptist Church, Wingate, NC, Rev. D.A. Chambers, Pastor officiating. The body will lie in state one hour before the service. Burial will be in Lakeland Memorial Park, Monroe. Public viewing will be on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Grier's Chapel, Monroe. The family will be at 1903 Walk-up Avenue, Monroe.
