She graduated from Krum schools and Denton High School and was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church.
She married Carlos Anthony in May 1930 in Marietta OK. He preceded her in death in February 1987.
She is survived by her daughter, Carlene Cowley of Truth or Consequences, NM; son, James Anthony and wife, Pauline, of Quitman; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister,Anna Blanch Brier Bentley; and brother Byron Brier, Jr..
