Evelyn Mary Bauman, age 92, of Dayton, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the St. Leonard Center. Evelyn was a volunteer for many years at Ascension Parish, St. Luke's Parish and the St. Leonard Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Vincent A.; parents, Lawrence & Elizabeth Brinkman; sister & brother-in-law, Colette & Dan Kulhanek; brothers, Raymond and Harold Brinkman; sister-in-law, Emma L. Brinkman; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Rita & Norman Saettel ; daughter-in-law, Sandy Bauman. Evelyn is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Judy & Tom Parmley, Gail & Nick Roberts, Joan & Tim Mark, Jan & Jim McCarthy; sons & daughters-in-law, James & Sheri Bauman, Gary & Karen Bauman; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister & brother-in-law, Mary Lou & Ray Ware; brother, Joe Brinkman; sisters-in-law, Wanda Brinkman and Naomi Brinkman; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the St. Leonard Center Chapel, 8100 Clyo Road, Centerville. Burial with graveside service will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Meyer-Boehmer & Reis Funeral Home, 1733 Brown St., Dayton. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to the St. Leonard Center Benevolent Fund.
