Carolyn Jean Brinkman

Born in Sacramento, Calif., to Albert and Elinor Tremp. Jean grew up in Citrus Heights, Calif., and graduated from San Juan High School in 1956. She married the love of her life, Virgil Brinkman. She worked as a hairdresser for many years and happily extended her abundant creative ingenuity into decorating the homes that she and her husband built. Jeanie welcomed you into her home with love and care. She found boating and traveling by motor home with groups of friends and family to be exceedingly enjoyable and did so frequently with unmatched vigor and enthusiasm.

Jean's family includes her husband Virgil Brinkman; two sons and their spouses, Brad and Kathy of Minnesota and Brian and Mary of California; four grandchildren, Zac, Brycen, Randi, Morgan, and great grandson Brayden; her sisters, Eltha Hannum of Roseville, Calif., and Lanora King of Cardiff by the Sea, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law Carl and Vonnie Brinkman, and sister-in-law Betty Hawks; many nieces and nephews, and her loving pets, Roxie and Lucky.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 1p.m., at the Maidu Community Center, 1550 Maidu Dr., Roseville, CA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roseville SPCA or St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
Jean will always be remembered by her family and friends as a woman with generous spirit and a loving heart.
