Ms. Lisa Anne Brinson Batchelor, 47, of Wilmington, died Sunday, May 20, 2007. Lisa was born March 11, 1960 in Wilmington, the daughter of Thomas L. and Marjorie DeVane Brinson. She was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church, a graduate of New Hanover High School and Cape Fear Community College. Survivors besides her parents include her husband, William T. Batchelor II of Hampstead; a daughter, Violet Alisa Batchelor of Hampstead and a brother, Thomas L. Brinson, Jr. of Wilmington. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday May 23, 2007 in Oleander Memorial Gardens Cemetery by the Reverend Dr. Madison M. Highfill. The family will receive friends at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, Oleander Chapel, Tuesday, from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and requests that memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
