Along with her parents, sister Annie and brother Joseph, Sarah age 9 emigrated to the United States on May 4, 1882 on the vessel"Canadian" from Glasglow, Scotland to Boston, MA. They settled in Osceola Mills, PA.
Her half sister Catherine) husband (Reynold) and nephew (Joseph) came over with the family on the same date.

She was married to Charles Bertram Brisbin on May 2, 1893 in Tyrone, Pa. by Rev. D. J. Gallagher. At the time of their marriage, Sadie (20) was working as a housekeeper in Tyrone and Charles (24) was working as a school janitor.

Daughter of James Riley (O'Reilly) and Mary Crawford-Brogan-Riley.

SARAH RILEY - BRISBIN
Services will be held in the Schroeder Funeral Chapel, Broadway and Royden street, this evening for Mrs. Sarah Riley Brisbin, who died at her residence, 2442 Mickle street, late on Saturday. Mrs. Brisbin was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.






Sarah was 53 years, 11 months and 6 days old.
