Aldah Lola Broderick of Blue Lake died yesterday at her home. She had made her home here since 1907 and was 83 years old. Mrs. Broderick was of a pioneer family and was the first white child born in Blocksburg.
Survivors include four children, Mrs. Rosemary Stevens of Meyers Flat, Robley Broderick of Eureka, Wilfred Broderick of Afghanistan, and John Broderick of Blue Lake, and 12 grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Paul's Funeral Chapel in Arcata with Reverend Russell Van Allen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Ocean View crematorium.
