the Lifecare Center in Valparaiso.
Born at Boone Grove, Indiana, June 12, 1910, daughter of the late Franklin D.
and Harriet Fox Brody. A member of the First Presbyterian Church of Valparaiso.
A 61 year member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 437. 51 year member of the College of Regents Women of the Moose. A charter member of the Eagles No. 2517. A member and past President of the North American Benefit Association; Order of Eastern Star Chapter 164; past Noble Grand of the Rebeccas. Survived by 2 sons, Jimmie (Beda) Bauer of Valparaiso, Roland "Pete" (Carolyn) Bauer of Wanatah,
Indiana; daughter, Karlene (Calvin) Heaster of Valparaiso; 7 grandchildren, Torrie Bauer, Linda Robb, Brenda Heaster-Ritter, Cynthia O'Bryan, Johanna Bauer, Karl and Jamie Bauer; 7 great grandchildren, Benjamin and Brandon Bauer,
Jennifer, Sarah and Kristin Heaster, Evan and Andrew Bauer; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Karl W.R. Bauer; great grandson, Nate; 4 brothers and 6 sisters. Funeral services Monday, January 26, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Dykes Funeral Home, Rev. Gretchen Seidler-Gibbs officiating. Burial
