PIONEER PASSES AWAY

Aaron Brody, one of the old and well known residents of Porter township, departed this life last evening at 6:30 o'clock at his home in Boone Grove. He had been feeding some chickens and was walking toward the house when he dropped in the yard. Coroner Lewis, who held an inquest this morning, said that death was due to heart disease.
The deceased was born in Michigan 71 years ago, and had lived in Porter County 65 years. He leaves a wife and four children-Ross and Franklin Brody, Mrs. Celia Dannie and Mrs. Melissa Ludington, all of Porter township.
The funeral will be held from the home tomorrow morning with interment in the Boone Grove cemetery.

DEATH SUMMONS COME SUDDENLY

From Monday's Daily
Aaron Brody, a resident of Porter township, died at his home near Boone Grove, of heart trouble Sunday morning after a short illness.
The deceased was 71 years old and is survived by a wife and several children. He had resided in Porter county for 65 years. He a cousin of of Postmaster A. W. Lytle, of this city.
Coroner Lewis conducted an inquest.
The funeral will be held from the home tomorrow at 2 o'clock. The interment will be at Boone Grove cemetery.
