"DEATH OF MR. J. BROMHEAD
SCONE, Monday.

The death has occurred of Mr. John Bromhead, at the age of 81 years. He was a member of the first municipal council in Scone and was a prominent cricketer in his younger days. He is survived by Mrs. Bromhead and three sons - Mr. N. S. Bromhead, police magistrate at Bathurst, Rev. A. D. Bromhead, of Canowindra, Mr. E. D. Bromhead, Scone - and a daughter, Mrs. D. Cameron, Scone".
