She is buried with her husband George in the Allen Cemetery down the road from the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Inscription on the joint tombstone says: George Allen Born Aug. 1, 1815 Died Sept. 2, 1878 Jane Allen Born July 2, 1818 Died May 26, 1900.
