Lillian Lucille Bombard, age 94 of Bridgeport, widow of Alexander Bombard passed away on Sunday February 26, 2012 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care. Born in East Hampton, LI, NY on November 8, 1917, Lillian was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Lester Brooks. She was a retired lab technician with American Chain and Cable and a Bridgeport resident for many years. She was a faithful member of Golden Hill United Methodist Church and attended services every Sunday. A long time Mets fan, she also enjoyed cooking and knitting for her family. Survivors include her beloved children and step daughter, devoted grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services on Friday March 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport with the Rev. James Stinson, officiating.
