Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Broward will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, Rev. Joe Tom Tate officiating. Interment in Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Broward, of 743 Cedar Bay Rd., died Tuesday at her residence. She was a native of Louisville, Ky, and lived in Jacksonville since 1920. She was a member of the Springfield Advent Christian Church, a member and past Matron on Oceanway Chapter 217, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Ladies Gateway Shrine Club. Survivors include her husband, Louie L. Broward; a sister, Mrs. Loretta Halford; 4 nieces, 3 nephews, a number of great-nieces and nephews.
