Mr. Calvin Brown died yesterday at 12 o'clock at his home in Steel Creek, of cancer. Deceased was the son of Mr. William Brown, and was 24 years of age. He had been a sufferer for eight months. About two months ago he went to a specialist in Richmond, but was not benefitted. His sufferings, which were great, ended yesterday. Mr. Brown was a member of Steel Creek church, and was one of the most upright, exemplary young ment of the township. Many mourn his death. The funeral services will be conducted this morning at 9:30 o'clock, by Rev. A. A. Little.
