Fred Richard Brown was born in Sacramento, California in 1941 to Fred Billings and Gladys Doreine Hogg Brown. He was their first born child. His mother, my aunt, Gladys told me that the night before he was found deceased in the crib she and Fred had gone shopping for a crib for him and then out to dinner, taking him with them. When arriving home he was fed and put down to sleep before they retired to bed. Fred answered a phone call early the following morning and then woke her, telling her to get the baby ready they needed to go to his parents house as a relative had just passed away. When she arrived at his basinette she found the baby not breathing and they were unable to revive him.
