He died in the Registration District of Essex South WesternRonald was the eldest son of Arthur Ernest Percy Brown and Florence Eleanor Jones. The family emigrated to Canada but returned, Ronald married Gertrude Rugman and they settled in Ryalls Lane, Slimbridge.
Ronald joined the RAFVR as Leading Aircraftman 799692. On the 27/10/1940 Ronald was killed while serving as a motorcycle despatch rider in Essex. He crashed into an unmarked bomb crater with the motorcycle landing on top of him.
