1880 - Ida, age 23, born Michigan, parents both born Germany - son Francis age 1
1890 - No census as the original was destroyed in a fire. There were 4 children born between 1880 and 1900
1900 - Maggie, born Mar 1871 Mich, father born NY - married 1900 - both living with prior marriage kids
1910 - Maggie, age 39, born Mich, father born NY
1920 - Maggie, age 48, born Mich, father born NY
1930 - Clara, age 66, born Ohio, father born Ohio - Note that Maggie died in 1926
He claimed in 1900 that he had been in America 20 years, which would mean about 1880. One researcher indicated he arrived in America about 1873 .

One researcher gave me the following, which hopefully solves the above question.
Albert probably emigrated to USA in about 1873. He married Ida Crouse 12th April 1875 in Monroe, Michigan and they had the following children - Francis 1878, Matie 1882, Ralph 1885, Lenora 1887 and Velma 1890.
Some time after this Ida died and Albert married Maggie Gilson, a young widow with two children - Myrtle Mae Gilson 1888 and Alfred Gilson 1893. Before her marriage to Charles Gilson in 1887, Maggie's name was Maggie Kingsbury. Interestingly it appears that Maggie's daughter from her first marriage, Myrtle, married Albert's son from his first marriage, Ralph. Myrtle and Ralph are Char's direct ancestors. Are you in touch with Char? I tried to send her an email but her email address must've changed.
Albert and Maggie had a son Albert 1899. Maggie died in 1926 and Albert senior married Clara. I doubt if they had any children together - by my reckoning Clara would've been at least 62 when they married.

DEERFIELD, May 10 - Albert Brunt, age 81 years, died suddenly of a stroke of apolexy at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Brunt was sticken while loading fence posts on a trailer at a lumber yard in Petersburg. He was born in Summersetshire, England, and at the age of 19 years came to Temperance, where he lived three years when he moved to a farm two miles north of Deerfield. Nine years ago he moved to the village. Mr. Brunt was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Clara Brunt; three sons, Frank, Ralph and Albert Jr., all of Deerfield; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Lavender of Deerfield; two stepsons Raymond Fitch of Deerfield and A.J. Gilson of Blissfield; a step-daughter, Mrs. Rosa Curtis of Elsie, four sisters and three brothers in England and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Episcopal church and the burial will be made in the Deerfield cemetery. The Rev. C.S. Risley will officiate.
