Zora was the dauhter of Zachariah and Mary (Carter) Brunton.
She married Joel "Joe" Allen on July 29,1907 in Omaha, NE.
They were the parents of Mary, Joel jr., Abigail, Gilford, Wilford, Vanola and David.

Mrs. Joel Allen Dies
BLAIR WOMAN DIES AT HOME WEDNESDAY; RITES AT CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Mrs. Joel Allen, 69, long a Blair resident, died last Wednesday night at the family home, 503 Davis Avenue.
The body was removed to the Campbell Mortuary. The funeral was held at the Christian Church Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Ralph Kersey officiating, and interment followed in Blair Cemetery.

Zora Taylor Brunton, daughter of Zachary and Mary Brunton, was born Sept, 19, 1883, in Blair.
Survivors include her husband; free sons, Wilford Allen of Blair, Gilford Allen of Las Vegas, Nev., and David Allen of Daly City, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Lorion Jones (Mary) of Blair, Mrs. C. N. Williamson (Abigail) of Lamont, Calif., and Mrs. Harold McPherson ( Vanola ) of San Francisco. Her eldest son, Joel, of Lincoln, Calif., preceded her in death.
Also surviving are five stepchildren, 41 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gladys McConnel of Port Orchard, Wash.; and a brother, Palmer Brunton, of Santa Cruiz, Calif., in addition to a number of nephews, nieces and cousins. (Contributed by Nancy Galaway)
