Age 80, daughter of the late Harry Adair and Margaret Elizabeth Lee Bryan. She was a graduate of Meyersdale High School. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday School. Joyce was also a Girl Scout Leader and ESL Tutor at Adult Education of Erie for many years. She had been a clerical worker at General Electric Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Bretz.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Martin F. Bretz; three daughters, Beverly Yaiko (George) of Clymer, N.Y., Marta Foltz (Harold) of Carlisle, Pa. and Carrie Clarke (Greg) of Dillsburg, PA; a sister, Beverly Rae Bryan of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
