STIGLER — ARY, Sylvia Bryce "Gran," 83, homemaker, died Monday. Services 1 p.m. today, Mallory Chapel, Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stigler.

Another angel has graced heaven's doors, Sylvia "Gran" Ary, age 83, of Stigler, Oklahoma went home to reunite with her loving and devoted husband, OB Ary on Monday, December 20, 2010. Gran was born April 10, 1927 to Tom and Sarah Bryce of Rocky Ridge, Oklahoma. In April of 1946 Gran married OB Ary in Stigler, Oklahoma. Together they raised three children. She worked many years at Western Auto of Stigler and Jack Beal Septic Services, but most of all she catered to her children as a homemaker. She was a member of the VA Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered her services. She spent all of her extra time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their friends always welcoming them to her family's table of food and laughter never turning anyone away from her graces. She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Moore of Stigler and Janice Rainwater and husband, Rick of Whitefield; one son, Tony Ary and wife, Donnie of Porum; grandchildren, Amy and husband Chris Pugh of Stigler, Kenny Medlock and fiancé Kim Pacek of Rocky Ridge, Kobe Ary of Porum, Sandy Summers and husband, Mike, of Missouri, and Crystal Kelly of Whitefield. She was predeceased by her husband, OB Ary; her parents, Tom and Sarah Bryce; sisters, Hazel Bailes, Evon Warren and Winnie Calhoun; and brothers, Jim Bryce, Jess Bryce and Tommy Bryce. Three words that sum up her life: Blessed, Loved, and Cherished. Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Mallory Chapel, Stigler with Rev. Mike Bush and Rev. Jim Bob Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Whitefield Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler. Pallbearers will be, Billy Tom Bryce – J.J. Reid – Steve Quick - Phillip Bush - Kenny Medlock and Chris Pugh. Honorary pallbearers will be JD Ary - Howard Ary - Houston Peevyhouse - Jack Beal Sr. - Bryce Medlock - Rowdy
Pugh - Tyler Medlock and Kaylee Medlock.
