PIEDMONT, SC - Harry William Bryson, 96, of 1505 Highway 86, husband of Vivian "Bib" Moore Bryson, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Piedmont, he was the son of the late John and Lizzie Bryson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was retired from Moore's Grocery and was a member of Piedmont Lions Club and Piedmont First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, conducted by Dr. Stephen Hearne and Dr. Thomas DeVenny. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
