Pottstown, April 17 - Mrs. Catharine Baer died at the home of her son, George H. Baer, 548 High Street, age 89 years. She was the daughter of William and Susanna (Gruber) Bucher, and came to Pottstown 25 years ago. Her husband, Benjamin Baer, died 40 years ago.
She was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Chuch, Topton. There survive the following children; B. Frank Baer, Reading; Fred N., Kutztown; John R., Cincinnati; Kate L., wife of William Wentzel, Millville, N.J.; Miss Carrie Baer, this borough, and George H., with whom she resided; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Louise Betz, this borough.
Funeral, Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Baer home. Interment, in charge of Funeral Directors H. R. Houck & Son, in St. Peter's Union Cemetery, Topton.
