Donna Jean (Bucher) Donna Jean (Bucher) Allain, 50, of Windsor, died Saturday, (February 11, 2006), at Hartford Hospital. Born in Southington, daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Gorski) Bucher, she lived in Windsor most of her life. Donna graduated from Windsor High School in 1973 and attended Manchester Community College. She had been employed by the former Combustion Engineering, Windsor and for over 20 years the former Elisha Penniman Co. of West Hartford. Donna enjoyed the beach and spending time with her daughter Danielle and the rest of her family. She loved decorating, cooking, and hosting her family for holiday gatherings. An avid bowler for many years she bowled a perfect game of 300 during a league event. Beside her daughter Danielle Jennifer Allain of East Windsor she leaves her fiancé William J. Harvey of Windsor; two sisters Lori Anna Bywater of Windsor Locks and Linda Rose Capsolas of Vernon; a brother Edward J. Bucher of Tiverton, RI; a nephew Jeff Bywater and a niece Halina Capsolas. The funeral will be Thursday, (February 16), 11 a.m. at the Bethany Assembly of God, 580 Main Street, Agawam, MA. Burial will be in Palisado Cemetery, Windsor. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. Contributions may be made to the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center, 85 Retreat Avenue, Hartford, 06103.
