ANNA -- Mary Lou Adams, 81, died at 11:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, in Anna Rehab and Health Care Center in Anna.
She was born Sept. 27, 1931, in Mounds, the daughter of Louis and Lena Beisswingert Bucher.
She married Curtis L. Adams on April 15, 1950, in Mounds. He preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1992.
Mary Lou is survived by two daughters, Sherilyn Baker (Jack Steele) of Jonesboro and Sue (Steve) Bauer of Anna; five grandchildren, Ashley (Tyson) Funk, Bradley Schlenker, Michael Clutts, Shon (Meagan) Bauer and Shannon (Scott) Thompson; six great-grandchildren, Connor Funk, Ian Funk, Jaeger Funk, Hayden Young, Brian Thompson and Benjamin Thompson; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Adams; and five brothers.
Mary Lou retired from the Shawnee Development Council in Karnak. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the VFW in Anna.
Services for Mrs. Mary Lou Adams will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in Anna City Cemetery, with the Rev. Jimmy Keller officiating. Interment will be afterward. Friends are asked to go directly to the graveside.
Memorials may be made to TIP Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the graveside and at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro and Anna.
