Drue was a native of LA and lived in the Lake Charles area for over fifty years. Mrs. Buck was a lifetime member of First Baptist of Lake Charles. In earlier years, she was a volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary (Pink Ladies). Most important to Mrs. Buck was her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was survived by two daughters, Teri Buck Taylor and husband Dr. Flynn Taylor of DeRidder, and Shannon Buck Conner and husband Eric of Lake Charles; three sons, Richard H. Buck and wife Samme of Lafayette, Danny T. Buck and wife Cheryl of Lancaster, CA, and Chris C. Buck and wife Carolyn of Lake Charles; thirteen grandchildren: Sean, Jessica, Jake, Holly, Danielle, Erin, Alisha, Ryan, Jarod, Grant, Lauren, Jordan, and Zac; ten great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Rachel, Hudson, Christian, Jacob, Elsacia, Madison, Bo Daniel, Harley, and Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard A. Buck and a granddaughter Brittany Conner.
