Lucy Blackburn Shirley Bullard, 92, of Lyman, SC died Friday, September 25, 1992, at Pinewood Manor after an extended illness.

A native of Alto, GA; widow of Pearly Thomas Bullard; first married to the late James Andrew Shirley; daughter of the late William Phillips "Bill" Blackburn and Bessie Lavada Stephens Blackburn.

A member of Lyman First Baptist Church; a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Fining Company.

Survivors include sons, Amos Shirley (1917-2003), James Andrew Shirley (1923-2020), Harold Bullard, and Joe Bullard; stepdaughters, Lillie Mae Rogers, Helen Walker, and Izora Nelson; brother, Sanford Blackburn; sister, Lena Blackburn; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by a son, Dennis Franklin Shirley (1920–1989)

Visitation held from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 1992, at The Wood Mortuary.

Services held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 27, 1992, at the B.C. Grant Baptist Church Cemetery, Alto, GA.
