James "Bull" Bullard, age 55, died Monday, June 29, 2009 in the Appling Health Care System. He was born September 20, 1953 in Appling County to the late John Dewey Bullard and the late Sallie Mae Beecher Bullard. He graduated from Appling County High School in 1971. He was a member of the Appling County EMA and Boy Scouts Troop # 472. Mr. Bullard was disable and he was member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was survived by several cousins..
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of David E. Miles Funeral Home With Rev. Roger LaRoach, Rev. Royce Hulett, and Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment followed in the Baxley Graveyard.
Active pallbearers were Winton "Wink" Branch, Willie Beecher, Lanier Branch, Lamar Leggett, Jimmy Carter and Frank Smith.
