Essie Mae Johnson Bullard, 95, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Appling HealthCare System. Mrs. Bullard was born December 25, 1914 in Appling County to the late Zeb and Ida Courson Johnson. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Odell Bullard, daughter, Missy Griffin and sons, Wayne Bullard and Monk Bullard. Survivors, are : 2 daughters and son in law, Peggy and Ed Rentz, and Skizzal Bullard; son, Boozy Bullard, all of Baxley, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation: wi ll be Saturday February 13, 2010, from 6-8 PM at Swain Funeral Home Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2010 from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home.
