Funeral services for Mrs. William (Anna) Bunning, a former Moweaqua resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church in Moweaqua.
Burial will be in Long Grove Cemetery northeast of Moweaqua. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Stine-Hodge Funeral Home in Moweaqua.
Mrs. Bunning, 78, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the homes of a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Murphy of Nokomis.
Mrs. Bunning, who had been in failing health, had lived with her daughter for the past 10 years. Prior to that time she had lived about 50 years in Moweaqua.
She was born in Harvel on 02Aug1889, a daughter of William & Mary Keiser Zimmerman. On 30Sep1908, she was married to William Bunning, who died in 1958.
Mrs. Bunning was a member of the First Christian Church in Moweaqua & the Women's Society for Christian Service in Nokomis.
Surviving are 3 sons, Harold, Richard & Robert, all of Moweaqua; 2 daughters, Mrs. Dolores McComas, St. Petersburg, FL; & Mrs. Clyde (Lorraine) Murphy, Nokomis; a brother, Walter Zimmerman, Litchfield; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary McCarty, Everett, WA; & Mrs. Minnie Patterson, Edmonds, WA; 10 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers & 4 sisters preceded her in death.
