"Lola Marie Baker, of Pearce/Sunsites, died Oct. 25, 2013 at the age of 94. She was born in Birmingham, Ala., on March 19, 1919 to John Benjamin Burkhardt and Pearl Bailey Burkhardt.

Lola loved the lord, and the Lord loved Lola. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willcox.

Survivors include her daughter Carol Baker of South San Francisco, Calif., and her son Dennis Baker of San Francisco, along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lola is also survived by her sisters Barbara McCarter of Camp Verde, Ariz., Shirley Collins of Cornville, Ariz. and Velma Coffer of Wildomar, Calif., and her brother Bill (Marilyn) Burkhardt of Prescott, Ariz. Preceding her in death was her husband Roscoe W. Baker, her sons Donald Ray Baker, Darrell Eugene Baker, Ronald Adrian Baker and her daughter, Bonnie Faye Baker.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, at Westlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona."
